• Thursday Night Skills Clinic:  RI Hockey Development (Spring/Summer): This will be held weekly on Thursday evenings from 5/3 - 8/16 (15 weeks). Justin Laverdiere will be the on-ice director. • Monday - Skating, Shooting, Stickhandling & Dryland Training:  (SESSION I PRE-REGISTRATION SOLD OUT) This program will be run by Justin Laverdiere, RI Hockey Development Director, and will be held on Monday nights from 4/30/12- 8/20/12 (no session on 5/28 & 7/2) - note dates have changed from original posting. This clinic will not be an overall skills clinic. It will focus specifically on skating; stick handling & shooting. The skating portion will focus on proper technique, stride, edges, explosive starts, cross-overs and overall agility skating. • 3 - on - 3 Hockey League: This league will be held for 10 games on Tuesday evenings from 6/5 - 8/14. There will be two divisions offered for the mites and squirts (birth years 2006 - 2002) both on cross ice. • Summer Youth Hockey League:  This league is offered for AAA and Elite level players. There will be two divisions offered for birth years 98/99 and 00/01. There will be 8 games from 6/27-8/22 held on Sunday or Wednesday evenings (depending on the age division). This is a draft league. • Summer Camp:  This all-day, week-long camp will consist of two on-ice sessions daily and off-ice stick handling and shooting sessions focusing on overall skill development, skating, shooting and stick handling. • Pre-Season Skating & Conditioning Camp (Summer Camp):  This 3-day camp will emphasize proper skating technique and conditioning for the start of the upcoming fall/winter season. The high-tempo conditioning portion will be achieved through various techniques, including Variable Goal Training (VGT), the new and innovative skill concepts used in the Czech Republic by world-renowed coach Ludek Bukac. • Bukac Hockey Camp (Summer): The #1 hockey school in the Czech Republic. This exciting camp teaches the VGT techniques used in the Czech Republic. This camp has sold out for the last several years. The camp will be held from 7/9 - 7/13,approx. 8am to 4pm daily. For info on the techniques taught in this camp, please log on to www.bukachockey.com.
